Petronas is presently using this solution, which was first developed in 2018. It is one of the first tablet-based, cloud-based fuel retail solutions in the fuel retail industry.
GetOrders Online Ordering Platform
As part of our initiative and commitment to assist our Slurp! merchants during the COVID-19 outbreak, we introduced GetOrders, a web based online ordering platform without paying large commissions to third-party online delivery platforms.
Silentmode is in the midst of a rapid expansion. Every year, our revenue grows by about 100%, and our user base grows at the same rate.
Silentmode was Malaysia's first cloud-based POS system, providing us a competitive advantage. We recently became Malaysia's first and only POS system to be utilised in fuel retail outlets. Our enterprise solution can easily process over RM 1 billion in transactions each month.

Mobile POS is anticipated to grow by double digits, reducing the market share of traditional point-of-sale systems. Traditional POS is now the most used POS system in the world, with a market share of 64 percent. The Mobile POS category, on the other hand, is on the increase, with a CAGR of 12.8% projected from 2020 to 2027, surpassing the total POS market's 7.5%.
As a result, in the next years, Mobile POS is projected to overtake Traditional POS. The low installation cost, device accessibility, and the ability to rent Mobile POS on a monthly basis for small and medium enterprises are all elements driving up consumer demand for Mobile POS.
Furthermore, the ever-changing customer preferences, increasing debit/credit card transactions, and advanced data analytics are likely to drive demand for Mobile POS.
In 2018, retail sales worldwide were USD23.6 trillion. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, sales are anticipated to drop by 5.7 percent in 2020. It is predicted to rise up in the following year, reaching USD26.7 trillion by 2022, representing a moderate CAGR of 3.1 percent from 2018 to 2022.
Malaysia's retail trade industry generated RM460 billion in sales in 2018, growing with a 5-year CAGR of 10.5%.
The performance of the Oil & Gas sector has been impacted by recent oversupply and the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic. Due to the pandemic, worldwide oil consumption is anticipated to fall in 2020 for the first time since the global crisis of 2009.
Despite the grim outlook, the oil and gas industry might be considered recession-proof; there are over 1 billion vehicles on the road worldwide, and nearly all of them require fuel to function. Electric cars account for barely 1% of total vehicle sales and are unlikely to have a significant impact in the near future due to their high cost and lack of charging infrastructure.
As a result, the industry is expected to pick up again, as there will still be demand for fuel for daily transportation activities.
From 2018 to 2019, the industry expanded by 6% to USD3.6 trillion. The Asia Pacific region accounted for the majority of the market (46%), followed by the United States (24%). However, owing to the economic downturn induced by the COVID-19 pandemic, a 2.9% drop is predicted in 2020. Nonetheless, the industry is expected to rebound and increase at an annual rate of 8% from 2021 to 2023, reaching USD4.3 trillion.
Between 2010 and 2017, the F&B services industry had an outstanding revenue CAGR of 12.1%.

Reza is a finance graduate from the University of Oklahoma and has extensive IT experience in the United States, Singapore, Brunei, and Japan. Reza is an avid Chelsea fan and a die-hard Apple devotee who also invests in a variety of other start-ups.

A technologist who has won several awards. Calvin was recruited as an App Developer for the first time when he was 17 years old. Calvin's technological vision has allowed Slurp! to establish a robust tech foundation that allows us to service SMEs as well as major multinational corporations.

Zara is the current CEO of Terato Tech Sdn Bhd. Terato Tech is a multi-award winning app developer company who has partnered with clients such as Air Selangor, Dominos Pizza, KWAP, LTAT, and CIMB Bank.
Noorzaini Ilhami | Lead Developer
Ilhami has extensive expertise in DevOps, VueJS, Java, PHP, NodeJS, NestJS, Bootstrap, AWS, and DigitalOcean, as well as system architecture, development, and server administration. He began his career at Petronas before joining Terato in 2014 as a core developer for prestigious customers such New Straits Time and CIMB. His interests include future tech breakthroughs and producing Android and Windows apps like Waktu Solat Malaysia.
Muhammad Shukri | Project Manager
Shukri has extensive experience in IT project management, quality assurance, and customer service expertise. He is a great asset in streamlining project operations and enhancing project procedures. The Slurp! Fuel Retail project with Petronas Dagangan was completed in just under 7 months under his supervision.Shukri is also a certified Software Tester.
