PROBLEM

Unfortunately, all the cinemas decide to temporarily close again in the month of Nov as the COVID-19 pandemic remains prevalent. This resulted in the performance of cinemas is still poor which has adversely affected the sales revenue of QT group since its main customer is cinemas such as GSC, TGV to name a few.

QT Food has long been supplying Golden Horn to customers in whole Malaysia, Singapore, Dubai, United Kingdom and etc. To validate the demand for the product internationally, QT Food had been participated in exhibition which organized by Malaysia External Trade Development Corporation (MATRADE).

          

QT Food had obtained HALAL, MESTI and Free Sale Certificate and will apply for GMP, HACCP and ISO Certification in year 2021. After this fundraising, QT Food will expand production capacity by 200% within the next 6 months and enhance the facility of Research and Development department to fulfill client's requests and product quality.

CUSTOMERS

QT Food has been distributing to wholesalers and retailers as an OEM due to the recent venture (E-Commerce). Most Customer would like to label our products with their own brand.

As we know, most people will go to cinemas for a movie with family, couple, and friends instead of one person. Hence, they normally will buy the popcorn in combo sets or one set. The Golden Horn with spicy taste helps the cinemas to increase the choices of the customers which lead to the increase of the concession sales since everyone has different favourite tastes and they may purchase both popcorn and Golden Horn. Furthermore, Quivine Tenous Foodstuff Sdn Bhd is the brand owner of Golden Horn, therefore this will increase the barrier of substitute.
