MESOLITICA

Malay Media & Social Analytics

COMPANY DETAILS

We use Deep Learning to understand Bahasa Melayu.

Mesolitica is a Malay media & social analytics startup, providing solutions for text analysis to help brand owners to gain actionable insights from news article & social media content using Natural Language Processing (NPL).

Our core technology is a Malay NLP engine called "Malaya" that employs Deep Learning to process both Malay and English text.

The NLP market is projected to generate US$43 billion in revenue by 2025 and Mesolitica intends to capture it by offering an "NLP As A Service" model to companies that want to inject AI technology into its businesses.

Using "Malaya" as the foundation, Mesolitica is in the early stages of developing speech recognition capabilities for Bahasa Melayu as we believe "voice" will be the user interface of the future.

For a start, we have set up the IsuTerkini (Telegram Channel) as a showcase of our "Malaya" NLP engine and a proof of concept for Mesolitica's AI powered news feed aggregator. Users can subscribe to the channel at https://bit.ly/isuterkini
