MAHSA Healthcare Centre provides healthcare and beauty services to our community. We are team-based healthcare that provides comprehensive medical care to patients with the goal of obtaining maximized health outcomes.

PROBLEM

As MAHSA University’s health sciences courses expand and grow with more students, MAHSA saw an opportunity to overcome placement issues among its graduates and interns by providing training centers. Not only that, but students are also able to equip themselves with hands-on skills while learning how to manage a business center from the perspective of marketing, accounts, and HR.

MAHSA Health Sdn Bhd accumulated around RM151K revenue in 2019 by providing services to university students such as MAHSA University, MAHSA Avenue International College, and also internal MAHSA staff. Moreover, we have been consistently providing healthcare services to the Petaling Jaya, Klang, and Bandar Saujana Putra community.

MAHSA Physio Centre provides pain management, stroke rehabilitation, and osteoarthritis which mostly caters to the aging community

The dental clinic provides complete exams, x-rays, and dental cleanings at an affordable price and caters to students, staff, and the public.

MAHSA Healthcare Centre’s business model is to provide good quality, low-cost, trusted medical treatment, and care over a large market size. Our profit margin is 5% while value-added medical treatments have a profit margin of 10 to 15%.

Therefore, we are able to provide top-class medical treatment and care at an extremely affordable price which is approximately 20% to 25% below market rate.

FUNDING

We are raising RM3,000,000 in funding with 3% equity to be given in return. MAHSA Health is aiming to use 10% of the funding for operations cost, while another 16% to invest in medical equipment and utilize 74% into the construction of a wellness center in MAHSA Avenue.

FOUNDERS

  • Dato Shahril Bin Prof. Tan Sri Datuk Dr. Haji Mohamed Haniffa

Son of the chairman and founder of Mahsa University, Dato Shahril is a medical doctor by background. He graduated with a Bachelor in Medicine and Bachelor in Surgery from Melaka Manipal Medical College and a Master's Degree in Healthcare Administration and Management. He is now MAHSA Group Managing Director.

  • Dato Sharon Bin Prof. Tan Sri Datuk Dr. Haji Mohamed Haniffa 

Son of the chairman and founder of Mahsa University, Dato  Sharon is a graduate of Monash University, where he completed his studies in chemical engineering and has since gone on to assist in the publishing of multiple research papers. He is currently an Executive Director of the MAHSA Group and leads the Finance and Tech Departments, spearheading innovative projects such as KEDAI, MAHSA Nexgen, and Urban Living. He also currently chairs several boards of prominent organizations in the country. Dato’ Sharon co-founded Brick House alongside his wife Datin Christine Bong. Together they continue to strategize and lead the growth and development of  Brick House, ensuring its continued success.
